Buy My Favourite Tupperware - Available to Purchase Online

This is one of my 'best buy' hubs.

When I was a child, and a teenager, my Mum used to hold Tupperware Parties ~ and attend Tupperware parties, so, naturally, I joined in. We had a fair amount of Tupperware in the house.

I remember that Mum's favourite item was the cold cuts keeper ~ because it really did keep food cool. We used to take it on holiday, and it would keep our picnic food fresh ~ cooked ham, cheese, etc ~ even in a hot car.

Perhaps it was no great surprise that, once married, with childen of my own, I became a Tupperware rep and bought a selection of Tupperware items for myself ~ some of which became my particular favourites.

Probably my favourite is the 'Quick Shake Container'. It has so many uses and even the kids can help out, which is great, because they love making smoothies, milk-shakes and non-alcoholic cocktails.

They are unlikely to hurt either themselves or your decor, since the shaker is made of 'Tupperware' plastic and the 'Tupperware' seals are famous for their reliability.

I have these items and I would really recommend them. They are probably my favourite Tupperware products.

I bought mine about 20 years ago, and they are all still in very good condition.

Quick Shake

I own one of these.

The 'quick shake container' is great for making gravy, custard, dressings, batter, milk shake, smoothies, cocktails ~ in fact, anything that needs whisking, blending or mixing. The blender works well and evenly.

Although the shakers come apart, and are easy to wash ~ and dishwasher safe ~ I think that it might be wise to purchase more than one, as I wouldn't feel comfortable using the same container to mix raw eggs for an omelette as I would to mix fruit juices for a kids' non-alcoholic cocktail, for example.

Inside the shaker is a clever 'blender wheel', which can be removed when not required and for washing.

The lid is domed and is in two-pieces ~ both with the reliable Tupperware seals. This allows for both a wide mouth for filling and a narrow mouth for pouring. This 'pour spout' is hinged.

The Tupperware Quick Shake is easy and convenient to use.

The 'Maid Gadget' pieces fit into this unit for added convenience.

Mixing Jug

My jug is also a different colour ~ and a slightly different style, but very similar. Mine is the 'Mix-n-Store' (see below).

It, too, is essential for the kitchen, in my opinion. It has all of the uses of a regular jug, but can also be used for measuring and mixing ingredients.

The two-piece lid keeps items clean and fresh. One or both can be removed for mixing. If the outer one is left in place it helps to prevent splashing.

The 'Maid Gadget' also fits the jug ~ useful if quantities are large.

Cook's Maid Gadget

I own one of these sets.

The 'Maid Gadget' is a juicer, a grater and a strainer. It has a tupperware container, with handle, to collect and store juices, etc.

For larger quantities, the juicer, grater and strainer all fot onto the 'Quick Shake' and onto the the 'Mixing Jug'.

Jug and shaker show both standard and metric measurements.

All items can be washed in the dishwasher.

A very useful set!

Keychain Treasure Novelty

A miniature novelty version of the Quick Shake is being sold as a 'Keychain Treasure'.

It is 2.5" in height and is a Tupperware novelty collectible that is not usually for sale.

I own one of these.

A useful favourite for many years!

Keep it in the refrigerator and /or use it for picnics etc.It helps to keep food fresh and cool.

Please keep cooked and raw foods separate. Do not use the same containers for both.

Meats, etc, should not be kept out of the fridge for long periods of time.

Various versions of the 'Cold Cuts Keeper' seem to be available online ~ including 'used' ones and 'new' but 'discontinued' ones.

Colours and sizes may differ, according to the version being offered for sale. Please check that you are buying the size and version that you require ~ and whether you are getting 'new' or 'used'.

If / when buying 'used' or 'vintage' / 'discontinued' lines, it may be advisable to check whether they are all still covered by the 'Tupperware' guarantee and that they are all dishwasher-safe and that the stay-fresh seal promise is still valid, before ordering and buying.

This is a product I own and consider one of my 'best buys'.

This two-quart container has all of the usual features expected of a regular jug.

It also has a very useful two-part lid. The outer 'splashguard' is great when using the jug as a mixing bowl. The inner lid seals with the well-known Tupperware seal. The splashguard lid can be positioned so as to be able to pour out the contents or seal in the contents for storage.
